This forum is for general amateur radio information. I have also merged the ARES forum with the LARC Forum. ARES discussion is highly encouraged here. Anyone can join and post to this forum. I would like to get people on here who wish to be elmer's to answer questions and are very patient and willing to answer these questions. This list is not for everyone as some people think they know everything and if you are one of those never mind, try another forum to join. If you draw a circle around Charlottesville to the north, Danville to the south, Roanoke/Blacksburg to the west and Farmville to the east, this would include the intended areas of interest. Other regional scanning issues are welcomed if applicable. HF, AIR, and military monitoring are also interests encouraged.
